Working in the UK

In September 2013 Rosatom joined forces with Finnish utility Fortum and UK-based Rolls-Royce to explore building and operating VVER nuclear power plants in the UK. Rosatom’s VVER reactors currently operate in 11 countries. It has been working closely with Rolls-Royce since the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding in 2011.
