Henry Macrory is a former head of press to the Prime Minister David Cameron[1] and was deputy political director at the Conservative Party HQ from 2011 until May 2012. [2]


Background

Macrory is a former tabloid journalist, having worked as political editor for the Daily Star. He worked alongside Andy Coulson and Gabby Bertin as Head of Press during Conservative opposition.[3]

In 2001, Macrory was appointed personal media adviser to Ffion Hague, wife of then Conservative leader William Hague.[4]
