Sir Steve Robson is a former UK senior civil servant. He was second permanent secretary managing director of Finance, Regulation and Industry Directorate at HM Treasury till 2001, after which he was appointed a non-executive director of the Royal Bank of Scotland until 2009.

Robson is currently a non-executive director of JP Morgan Cazenove Holdings, mining company Xstrata Plc and Partnerships UK plc.

He is a member of the chairman's advisory committee of Big Four accountancy firm KPMG and sits on the advisory board of UK think tank Reform.
