Stephen Mosley was the Conservative Party member of Parliament (MP) for the City of Chester from May 2010 to May 2015. He lost his seat in May 2015 to the Labour Party's Chris Matheson by 93 votes.[1]
Pro-nuclear activities
Like two other new Conservative MPs, Damian Collins and Thérèse Coffey, Chester used his maiden speech in the House of Commons in 2010 to express his strong pro-nuclear power views, highlighting that Urenco’s uranium enrichment plant is based at Capenhurst in his constituency:
