Ayesha Hazarika

Ayesha Hazarika, Baroness Healy of Primrose Hill, is currently director of communications and deputy chief of staff in the leader of the opposition's office. [1]

Hazarika took up a role as chief of staff to Harriet Harman in 2011, following a role as Ed Miliband's spokesperson. [2]

Hazarika has also worked in the press office at the Ministry for Agriculture, the Home Office and 10 Downing Street. She was also chief press officer to Patricia Hewitt when she was trade and industry secretary from 2001 to 2005. [1]

Hazarika has also worked as vice-president of government affairs at record company EMI. [1]
