:Vincent Cannistraro is a consultant on intelligence and terrorism for ABC World News with Peter Jennings and other corporate clients. He is a recognized expert on political violence and national security issues and has been a consultant to the Vatican on security affairs. Mr. Cannistraro is a former Chief of Operations and Analysis at the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center. Prior to this, he worked at the Department of Defense where he was Special Assistant for Intelligence in the office of the Secretary of Defense (January 1987-October 1988). From November 1984 to January 1987 he was Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council under President Reagan.
