Also on the board of Enablis, a Canadian-based not-for-profit organisation that supports entrepreneurs in the developing world and Martin Randall Travel.

After the Enron affair Accenture distanced itself from Arthur Anderson (now known as Andersen) arguing they had operated as “separate and independent companies since 1989, linked only by a contractual relationship until August 2000, when an arbitrator with the International Chamber of Commerce ruled that Accenture could sever its contractual ties to Arthur Andersen."[1]

Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Other directors include Mark Moody-Stuart of Shell Anglo American and HSBC.

Ellis is a member of the Centre for European Reform. He is also Chairman of ENO, the Classical Opera Company and the Sacconi Trust, and is a trustee of the Royal College of Music, the Kathleen Ferrier Awards and the Florestan Trust.
