Two Blades Foundation is a crop research body that describes itself as "a US based charitable organization that supports programs of research and development on durable disease resistance".[1] Two Blades Foundation has linked up with the Sainsbury Laboratory, as the Sainsbury Laboratory website says, "to solve crop disease problems using state-of-the-art technologies". It is clear from the Sainsbury Laboratory website that what is meant is the genetic engineering of wheat against rust disease.[2]
