Ray Takeyh (born 1966, Tehran) is an Iranian-American scholar of Assyrian ancestry who formerly served as an aide to Israel lobby hawk Dennis Ross and as a fellow at AIPAC think tank Washington Institute for Near East Policy. An Iran hawk, Takeyh is currently a Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a contributing editor of The National Interest.
