Philip French

Philip French is a former special adviser, who joined the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in 2008, after leaving the football fan-empowerment group Supporters Direct. Previously he was the director of policy at the Premier League. [1]

Earlier on in his career French left the DCMS for personal reasons, when he returned to his former role as football's Premier League head of communications. [2]
