PAI Partners is descibed as running 'buyout funds as well as the former BNP Paribas portfolio of direct investments. It took the second-largest biscuit manufacturer in Europe, United Biscuits, private, and has acquired Yoplait, the world's second-largest dairy producer'[1].

In 2005, it bought Kwik Fit. It previously owned Carglass and FT Automotives[2].
