Norman Darbyshire was an MI6 officer.

Darbyshire served in the Special Operations Executive during World War Two. After the war he worked for MI6 in Iran with Robin Zehner. They travelled to Jerusalem to set up a radio station broadcasting to Iran, using the premises of Sharq al-Adna.[1]
