NebuAd was an American-based company, providing behavioural targeting advertising systems. [1]

NebuAd spyware/adware technology was similar to that of Phorm, in that it intercepted the web requests of Internet Service Providers' customers and built a profile of the customer, in order to provide targeted advertising.

The company closed down in May 2009, following consumer protests and the threat of legal action. [2]
