Michael Barone is an American political analyst and journalist.[1]


Barone was educated at Yale and Harvard Law School.[1]

He was Vice President, Peter D. Hart Research Associates, 1974-81. He wad a member of the editorial board at the Washington Post from 1981 to 1988. He was Senior Staff Editor at Reader's Digest, 1996-98. He was a Senior Writer at U.S. News & World Report from 1989 to 19996 and from 1998 to 2009. He has been a contributor to Fox News Channel since 2001. He has been Senior Political Analyst at the Washington Examiner since 2009.[1]

Barone is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.[1]
