Henry's House is a PR firm founded and owned by Julian Henry and ‘pop svengali’ Simon Fuller the man behind the Spice Girls, S Club 7 and ‘Tango’.

The firm says it tries to keep a balance between showbiz and 'brand clients,' although Henry says that the methods behind selling unwanted stars and unwanted products are much the same. "People relate to talent and consumer brands in similar ways; the most successful celebrities are marketed as brands... The needs of a celebrity will be different to that of a brand, but the principles for the communication work tend to be the same.” [1]

In 2002 Sanghera[2] reported that Henry's House had an annual turnover of £1.2million. By 2007 Henry's House report on their website that their annual turnover was in excess of £2.5million.[3]

The FT reports that the client list for Hentry's House includes showbiz clients like S Club, Johnny Vaughan, Jamie Theakston, Pop Idol's Will Young and Gareth Gates and Annie Lennox together with consumer brand clients like Orange, Absolut Vodka, The Face and FHM.[4]

In 2007 Henry's House Website[5] lists "long term client relationships with Coca-Cola, EMAP, Universal, Sony BMG and others". They claim to be "highly experienced in media relations, brand building, talent and image consultancy, TV properties and support for marketing programmes".[6]

Their website notes that, “Since launching in 1999 we have become one of the UK’s top performing PR agencies”... “The company has an environmental programme, supports sustainable working practices and donates 10% of its profits to charity.”[7]

What immediately comes to mind with Henry's House's declaration of environmental programmes and supporting sustainable working practices, is their long term connection to Coca-Cola, who are embroiled in accusations of environmental (and human rights) injustices.[8]
