Workers at Glenmorangie's Broxburn plant are involved in a dispute concerning shift patterns.  It is though that the company are keen to enforce flexibility from employees in order to fulfill commitments to a contract wom from [[Jim Beam]] the US whiskey giant.  Workers currently work their hours over four days, the company want to extend this to five days.  Workers face loosing their jobs if they refuse to sign the new contracts, which will see them lose 38 days off each year.  Initially the company offered £500 in compensation which has now been withdrawn.  A [[GMB]] hope to restart negotionations soon, Glenmorangie refused to comment.  {{ref|1}}
