The Galen Institute purports to be 'a non-profit research organization devoted exclusively to health policy... [working] to promote a more informed public debate over ideas that advance individual freedom, consumer choice, and competition in the health sector' [1]. It is based in the US but has some UK contacts including its president Grace-Marie Turner (previously, Grace-Marie Arnett) who is an adviser to the Atlantic Bridge [2].
