  • Shareholder, Vodafone (http://www.vodafone.co.uk) - a mobile network operator headquartered in Berkshire, England, UK. It is the largest mobile telecommunications network company in the world. A member of the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee, in 2007 Burke welcomed the announcement by mobile phone operators in Ireland (including Vodafone) to reduce mobile phone roaming rates for customers travelling in the EU.[2]
