Axel Voss (born 07 April 1963, Hameln) is an MEP for Germany from Christian Democratic Union of Germany since June 2009.[1]

  • Studied law at the Universities of Trier, Munich, Freiburg and Paris (1983-1990); first state law examination, specialisation: European and international law (1990); trainee, Koblenz Supreme Provincial Court of Appeal district (1991-1994); second state law examination, specialisation: European law and international relations (1994). Specialised and programme aspects of project management/writing on the European subsidiarity principle for a television report for CineDokumentFilm, Munich (1994-1995). Lawyer (since 1994). Taught European affairs at Remagen Technical College (2000-2009).
  • Member of the CDU, Bonn District Assocation; district chair, Bonn CDU (2004-2009); deputy district chair of the CDU in the Middle Rhine area (since 2005).
