Teresa is one of the editors of Spin Profiles-Climate Portal. She is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Geography and Sociology-Strathclyde University- and she is also working as a consultant for Friends of the Earth Scotland. Teresa combines research and activism. Her main research interests are: Indigenous Resistance, Big Oil & The State, Climate Justice, and Corporate Accountability. She graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1998 with a Degree in Biology and from University Carlos III of Madrid in 2001 with an MSc in International Development. She has been an activist on Indigenous and Environmental Rights for the last 10 years. One of her previous job appointments was in 2002 as Expert in Mission of the Peruvian Amazon Program with UNICEF (United Nations Children Fund). Since October 2003 she has been working for Friends of the Earth Scotland as Global Communities Project Coordinator and International Development Officer.
