Dr Richard Williams is the Managing Director of Richalis Limited, a computer consultancy. Richalis gave £4,000 to the Labour Party in March 2001 and £4,000 in May 2001. He is a City Councillor in Southampton, responsible for Environment and Transport, and also sits on the Healthy Region Forum of the South East Regional Assembly. Previously he has been a Publicity Officer for Hampshire County Council. Richard Williams unsuccessfully stood as Labour candidate for Gosport in the 1997 General Election.

His clients have included Glaxo Wellcome, DETR, Ministry of Defence, CCTA (Government computer Centre) and the Department of Social Security.
