Backgound

The Health4Schools programme is a Gloucestershire based project operating in a number of (?) primamry schools within the region. The purpose of the project, according to the literuature is to educate teachers and parents/guardians regarding their charges diets. This project is primarily funded by the MultiNational concern Kraft Foods.


For more than a hunderd years Kraft has produced a huge selection of food and beverage products and supply these brands to 150 countries around the world.Mnay of these brands are well known household names from a huge portfolio of products including Kenco, Philadelphia, Dairylea and Terry's Chocolate Orange.

The company claims to be interested in a numebr of community based projects complemented by sponsorship and charitable programmes. Thecompany also claims to be envoronmentally aware with emphasis on strong principles regarding the treatment of its suppliers and employees worldwide.

The company’s stock (NYSE: KFT) is listed on the S&P 100 as well as the Dow Jones and Ethibel Sustainability Indexes.
