The IoD is the professional body for business leaders and we have been representing individual directors from all sectors for the last 100 years. Over this time, we have created a series of benefits and effective business tools designed to support our members in their strategic decision-making and their ever-growing portfolio of responsibilities required of today's directors. We recognise that they have individual needs and we can help them meet their personal business challenges too.

How the IoD can support you

It is widely acknowledged that UK directors are world leaders in terms of corporate governance and business innovation - the Institute of Directors (IoD) is proud to support them.

Membership of the IoD will give you access to a variety of benefits and services, including free access to a number of prestigious business locations across the UK and on the Continent.

Am I eligible to join?

From CEOs of private and public sector organisations to entrepreneurs of start-up companies, if you are responsible for the strategic direction of your organisation, we can support you both now and in your future career.

You need not be a registered director to qualify. To clarify whether you are eligible you can contact the IoD Membership Development Department on 020 7766 8888.

'''How much is membership?'''

The current membership fee is £285* per year and there is a one-off joining fee of £200, which is subject to change at the end of the year. To avoid potential fee increases and the annual joining process, why not join for multiple years? You will also save money, as we will reduce the election fee, depending on the number of years you join for. What's more, the membership fee is normally tax deductible.
