Roger Lyons is a long-time union bureaucrat and is the Chair of Trade Union Friends of Israel [1]

He was the general secretary of the Manufacturing, Science and Finance (MSF) union, and after its merge with the Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union (AEEU) to form Amicus in 2001 he was made joint secretary.[2] He left the role in 2004.
