History

The National Obesity Forum was created in 2000 by a group of health professionals.

The main aim of the NOF is to increase focus on obesity and develop more awareness - leading to the prevention of obesity itself, and health issues that come with obesity. To increase awareness, the NOF aim to educate people more and from an earlier age, which in turn should decrease the impact on the NHS.
