Great stuff on refs. just one more thing... can u have a look at how I have amended ref 6 in Digby Jones page, again to make the title of the doc into weblink, also I added a page no., v important for long docs--idea is that anyone wanting to use our info can quickly access the source. thanks. trying to make instructions on refs more simple for newbies. can u amend the rest of the refs like no. 6?

HI Martin

welcome to spin. I'm the managing ed. could you fix the refs on Digby Jones http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/Digby_Jones

so that you have the title of the article or web page in the square brackets with the url but separated from it by a space? also put the date of the article in. I have done this with refs 1 and 2 on the page. if you go into Edit mode on the page you can see how they are coded. basically it's <ref>Article author (if any), [http://www.bloggsarticle.com/article Title of article on Mr Bloggs], BBC News, 20 April 2009, accessed 18 March 2010</ref>

hope that makes sense. everyone has trouble getting the hang of refs. It's explained in more detail in the top posts on the globalisation page http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/Globalisation_Project

many thanks
