Rudolf Scholten

Rudolf Scholten is a director of Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG.[1]

From 1976 to 1984, Scholten was an Executive Assistant to the Board of Management at [[Oesterreichische Kontrollbank]. In 1983, Scholten worked for Morgan Stanley and Morgan Guaranty in New York. From 1984 to 1986, he was a ministerial advisor at the Austrian Ministry of Finance. From 1986 to 1988, he was an economic policy advisor to the Office of the Federal Chancellor (Economic Policy Adviser). From 1988 to 1990, he was Secretary General of Austrian State Theatres.[1]

He served as Federal Minister of Education and the Arts (1990-94), Federal Minister of Science, Research and the Arts (1994-96), Federal Minister of Science, Transport and The Arts (1996-97).[1]

In May 1997, he was appointed a member of the Board of Executive Directors of Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG.[1]
