Julian von Fumetti

Julian von Fumetti worked as an Account Manager at public affairs firm GPlus. Julian joined GPlus from the European Parliament where he was political adviser to Erika Mann, German member of the European Socialists and their coordinator on international trade. Julian advised multinational clients in the extraction, chemicals and automotive sector. His expertise lies in European and international trade, environmental and enterprise policy.


Background

At the parliament Julian was responsible for overseeing committee work and for policy development on issues such as transatlantic economic relations and ICT regulation. In addition he was closely involved in the work of parliamentary fora like the European Internet Foundation (EIF), the Forum for Automobile and Society and the Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN).

Before coming to Brussels Julian worked in Paris - as scientific assistant at the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne - and in Washington DC - for the German Marshall Fund of the United States.[1]
