James Graham, 8th Duke of Montrose

James Graham is the 8th Duke of Montrose and sits in the House of Lords on the Conservative benches. Since 2007 he has been a sponsor of the moral conservative lobby group the Family Education Trust.[1][2]

Graham has repeatedly voted against measures designed to support gay equality. He voted against the repeal of Section 28 in 2000 and, in 2007, against the Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 and the Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2007.[3]
