Gill Ackers is a partner at Brunswick Group PR and lobbying firm.

Career

Ackers was head of media at the London Stock Exchange between 1988 and 1993 and a member of the Financial Services Authority's Continuing Obligations theme team.[1]

She is currently a partner at Brunswick Group.[2]

Ackers has "extensive experience of corporate positioning and reputation management, transactions, restructurings and crisis" and she has "provided senior counsel on several significant transactions, including ICE’s acquisition of NYSE Euronext, The London Stock Exchange’s majority holding in LCHClearnet, the creation of Newedge, the sale of Gartmore to Henderson and JPMorgan’s acquisition of Cazenove....She has also provided post-merger integration advice to Citigroup, Access Bank and First City Monument Bank. Her international corporate reputation mandates have included TowerBrook, Triton, JPower, Japan Tobacco and Access Bank."[1]
