Background
Ansaldo Nucleare is an Italian nuclear energy company created in 1989 as an independent branch in the Finmeccanica Group. In December 1999 Ansaldo Nucleare was incorporated by Ansaldo Energia S.p.A, a company belonging 100% to the FINMECCANICA Group, as a Division. From November 2005 Ansaldo Nucleare became a separate company, though fully controlled by Ansaldo Energia.
