McEwan-Purvis is a lobbying and PR firm set up by Sam McEwan and Jeremy Purvis

Purvis was elected to the Scottish Parliament in May 2003. According to his biography on the Scottish parliament website his Career History includes:

2001 - 2003 Company Director McEwan Purvis (Strategic communications consultancy)
1998-2001 GJW Scotland (Parliamentary affairs company)

His entry in the register of members interest submitted on 2 June 2003 does not mention any involvement in the firm, which suggested that he ceased to be a director before June 2003.

Staff/Shareholders

Clients

McEwan-Purvis does not disclose its clients on its website. Indeed it notes that 'McEwan Purvis' staff are experienced at handling sensitive issues and confidential information. Keeping pre-launch campaigns under wraps is familiar territory, as is working on market and politically sensitive projects.

We have wide experience of planning, co-ordinating and implementing product and campaign launches and working on competition cases - all of which require the greatest sensitivity and discretion.'

Nevertheless, it leaves traces on the web. Among its clients are:

Employees of McEwan Purvis such as Jayne Struthers have attended they the cross party group on Sexual health in the Scottish Parliament [5]. Before he was elected to parliament Jeremy Purvis attended the Scottish Parliamentary Convention on the Future of Europe on behalf of McEwan Purvis on Monday 16 September 2002. [6]
